As part of strengthening cooperation between Bina Business Incubator and the Ministry of Technical and Vocational Education, Mr. Mustafa Elsagezli, Director General of the Binaa International Program, welcomed Mr. Adel Al-Shuwaidi, Director of the Ministry’s International Cooperation Office, Dr. Jawhar Gashout, Director of the Higher Institute of Arts Technologies, and Dr. Mustafa Al-Zanati, Director of the Higher Institute of Science and Technology.
The visit aimed to introduce the Ministry’s delegation to the incubator’s work and its programs dedicated to supporting and empowering entrepreneurs and innovative young people.
The delegation toured several startups currently incubated by Binaa and discussed opportunities to strengthen the culture of entrepreneurship while aligning technical education outcomes with labor market needs. The discussions focused on transforming students’ ideas and graduation projects into sustainable entrepreneurial ventures.
The meeting also resulted in an agreement to implement joint training and incubation programs targeting students and graduates with innovative business ideas from the participating institutes. In addition, awareness sessions will be organized to promote entrepreneurship, enhance graduation projects, and help turn them into promising investment opportunities.
Participants emphasized the importance of fostering innovation, empowering young people, and creating a supportive ecosystem for emerging talents and startups, contributing to sustainable economic development and job creation in Libya.
