Mustafa El Sagezli
Mustafa has built The Libyan Program for Reintegration and Development (LPRD) a national institution that aims to move young Libyans from Militias, Arms and despair to be State Builders thru education and Socio-Economic Development projects. Since then LPRD has been able to establish 31 branches throughout Libya, and has 162,000 registered participants managing a budget of more than 100 Million Euros. While this has not been without its challenges, many reintegration projects have been implemented and have succeeded in reintegrating thousands of former combatants and Youth.
In 2018 Mustafa El Sagezli received his Master of Business Administration from New York University, Tirana . The topic of his master thesis is “The Role of SME’s and Entrepreneurship in Stabilizing Conflict Affected Countries (The Libyan Case)”.
Since, 2015 Mustafa has been active on International Projects on State Building and Socio-Economic Development in Fragile and Conflict Affected countries (Libya, Somalia,Syria). Being the Chairman of the Board of SESRIC from 2015-2018 as well as being the Supervisor and a member the steering committee to the Bina Program which is supported by a consortium of The Islamic Development Bank, SESRIC and The LPRD has given Mustafa a great experience on projects that aim to Rebuild Fragile countries in the region thru Socio-Economic Development including SMEs and Entrepreneurship Empowerment and Development.
